New hotfix for ILM 2007
Please check out the following URL for the latest upcoming hotfix (Service Pack 1) for ILM 2007. The Service Pack (build 3.3.1139.2) brings quite a few fixes to the CLM / CM world and one or two additions. One of the biggest changes is the support for Exchange 2010. Note that this provisioning mechanism uses the Powershell / Windows Management Framework components in exactly the same way Outlook Live implemented used in OLSync. This means that you will need a few components installed on the local ILM server, but these will make remote powershell calls to the Exchange 2010 CAS servers. Due to this new method the ILM server does not need to be part of the domain that is the target of the provisioning.
- The ILM 2007 Synchronization service account must be a domain account.
- The ILM 2007 Synchronization server must be joined to a domain. However, the server does not have to be joined to the domain in which the provisioning occurs.
- PowerShell 2.0 must be installed on the ILM server. Additionally, PowerShell 2.0 must be installed and configured for remote access on Exchange Server 2010 Client Access Server (CAS).
